Permits & change of use.

Before the first court goes up, the site has to be approved. Together with our partner Planeco Building, we take care of the building application, change of use and fire protection – so planning and permits go hand in hand.

Partner

Permit planning with Planeco Building.

Planeco Building supports our projects with everything the building authority wants to see. You have one point of contact with us – we coordinate planning, application and court installation.

What we take care of

Six topics that affect every facility.

01

Building application

New hall, roofing or outdoor courts: we prepare the documents so that the building authority can decide quickly.

02

Change of use

A warehouse, commercial building or tennis hall becomes a padel facility. That almost always requires an approved change of use.

03

Fire protection

Escape routes, emergency exits, visitor numbers and a fire protection concept – tailored to sport, catering and events.

04

Parking & noise

Proof of parking spaces and – for outdoor courts – noise protection for the neighbours belong in the planning at an early stage.

05

Zoning plan

We check whether the site permits sport, which conditions apply and whether an exemption is needed.

06

Structural engineering & hall height

We clarify clear height, load-bearing capacity of the floor slab and anchoring of the courts before anything is ordered.

Change of use

From empty hall to padel.

Many of our facilities are built in existing buildings – former warehouses, commercial buildings or tennis halls. That saves construction time but requires a proper change of use. We check early on whether the hall is suitable: clear height, column grid, floor, escape routes.

Process

From site check to permit.

  1. 1

    Site check

Area, building, zoning plan and neighbourhood – a first assessment of what needs to be approved.

  2. 2

    Planning

Layout of courts, walkways, ancillary rooms and fire protection – as the basis for the application.

  3. 3

    Application

Building application or change of use with all supporting documents, submitted and followed through to approval.

  4. 4

    Implementation

Installation starts once the permit is granted – by then, any conditions are already reflected in the planning.

Exactly which documents are needed depends on the federal state, municipality and building. In the initial call we tell you what to expect.
